In April of 2015, Kevin Hartman bought a vintage 1969 Velocette Venom motorcycle from a good friend. The bike didn’t work. The company that produced the bike had been out of business for 45 years. Kevin knew nothing about restoring motorcycles. Using YouTube tutorials, he set out to bring his bike back to life. This is the story.
What a beautiful and rare bike. I admire the dedication to work through all the issues and get it running. As someone who works on older bikes myself, I can attest to the fact that fixing one thing often just reveals several more things that need attention. Bravo Kevin!
